This article contains spoilers for Episode 3.

The official promo teaser for episode 4 titled 'True Killers' from 'American Horror Story: 1984' is here and boy are we feeling stupid for thinking Montana made out with a cold-blooded serial killer purely because he was targeting a girl she hated.

In the upcoming episode releasing next week, we see Montana speaking to Ramirez in a flashback with her aerobics class as the setting. He shows up at her class mid-session and she, in her usual snarky tone, tells him this isn't a place for posers, only serious people invested in exercising are allowed. Could this be the foundation of how the two of them team up to kill Brooke? Or was this just a set up all along, and the two had planned ahead for meeting up as strangers, just so Ramirez could find out who his prospective target it?

Ever since the cliffhanger that episode 3 'Slashdance' ended on, fan theories about Montana being related to either of the guys who died at Brooke's wedding have popped up aplenty. People have speculated that she could have been the best man's girlfriend, or related to Brooke's fiance and now wants to avenge he bloodbath which happened because Brooke allegedly cheated on her fiance with the best man.

A lot of fans also speculated that perhaps Brooke getting too much attention from the men at the camp was irking Montana, and she was just glad that someone wanted to kill Brooke as much as she did. But the spoilers for the fourth episode show Montana and Ramirez knowing each other before either of them came to Camp Redwood, and this leads to a fair few theories.

If the flashback teased was before Ramirez attacked Brooke, it's possible that he popped by Montana's aerobics class to finish what he had started. Maybe he had used Montana as a connection to get to Brooke, and somehow the freaky blonde also got too hyped about the plan. There's also a possibility that Ramirez showed up at Montana's class with no intent of targeting anyone, but then saw Brooke and decided otherwise, and then the rest of the story goes as it has so far. Or, it's likely that Montana and Ramirez met up at a time when Brooke was nowhere in his target-list, and Montana, thirsting for vengeance, asked Ramirez to wipe off Brooke.

There are a lot of possibilities in this scenario, but most originate with Montana and Ramirez building a secret connection, all with the plan of murdering Brooke. Find out all about it next Wednesday at 10pm/9c, only on FX.
