'American Horror Story: 1984' episode 2 spoilers tease a lot of blood and plenty of sinning to come

The trailer for episode 2 shows the investigator from Mr. Jingles' crime scene at the psych ward at Camp Redwood. Mayhem follows!

That's a wrap on the debut episode of 'American Horror Story' season 9 '1984', but worry not, more blood, gore, and disturbing murders are to come in the upcoming second episode titled 'Mr. Jingles', as has been established by the teaser for episode 2.

Right at the beginning of the trailer the investigator who investigates Mr. Jingles' crime scene at the psych ward is seen at Camp Redwood and she comes bearing only alarms and warnings. She can be seen telling someone that "A psychopath who committed mass murder is on the loose," and while we don't see the addressee, given that both Margaret Booth and Brooke Thompson are survivors of two different mass murderers, it could be either of them, since the investigator adds the murderer "has an obsession with you."

The very next scene, however, shows Margaret insisting very sternly "Camp Redwood will open as scheduled," so maybe the warning was aimed at her. But the upcoming episode will also focus on intensifying the blood and gore involved in every murder Mr. Jingles is about to execute. At the same time, it also shows that the young adults at the camp are finally starting to pick up on the sinister presence lingering around them, so that should be something to watch out for.

Expect preachy sermons from Margaret every time someone announces they are all going to die, as Margaret - despite being a survivor - is in denial enough to believe that they are going to die, but "from sin." And there's a lot of sinning happening, with skinny dipping and underwater oral sex alongside the usual alcohol and cocaine so that will be another fun throwback from the 80s to look forward to in the coming episode. That, and dead bodies floating up in the water, blood splattering on the walls, cars going up in flames and people just casually getting run over. In short, the gore connoisseur's paradise!

'American Horror Story: 1984' episode 2 airs on Wednesday, September 25, at 9 pm, only on FX.
