Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the US, once said, "The more you know about the past, the better prepared you are for the future." A country as adverse as America boasts a rich history of over 300 years marred with pain, conflict, and the blood of the innocent. Years of struggle led to the country's independence from its colonizers, a historical moment that we now celebrate and observe as a day of freedom and liberty. But how much do we know of the past that defines our nation? This July, The History Channel is bringing us a new three-part miniseries, 'America: Our Defining Hours', providing a comprehensive insight into the history of our nation. Here is all you need to know about it.
