Spoilers ahead for Episode 3 'Notorious AF' of 'Almost Family'

Last week's episode 'Notorious AF' had Julia (Brittany Snow) going through a storm. After news of her one-night stand went viral — for all the right reasons considering that Julia had sex with her step-brother, a fact that she wasn't aware of — Julia was shamed and harassed on social media.

However, she eventually rose out of it showing everyone who the "real boss b**ch" is. Elsewhere, Edie (Megalyn Echikunwoke) is still fraternising with the enemy.

Despite being on two sides of the case, Edie is sleeping with Amanda Doherty (Victoria Cartagena), the woman who is prosecuting Dr. Leon Bechley.

There definitely was one good thing to have come out of the last episode and that was Roxy (Emily Osment) finding her calling. She also promises to teach Izzy (Bryce Lorenzo), a young girl who shows the potential and drive to be an athlete.

The upcoming episode will show Roxy investing her time in training her gymnastics protégé, Izzy, while tensions with her parents rise.

In the upcoming episode titled 'Fake AF', Julie, Edie and Roxy meet a new sibling, restaurant owner Nate (Michael Urie in a guest appearance), who helps them secure one of the most exclusive reservations in New York.

Unfortunately, the dinner doesn't go as planned and Julia is forced to apologize to Roxy and Edie for her missteps. Meanwhile, Edie and Tim discuss starting a family, but Edie is conflicted about where she stands.

It remains unclear if she has feelings for Amanda or if she is exploring her sexuality.

The promo also shows Edie in what looks like a tense conversation with her mother. Just last episode Edie discovered that she had never won the scholarship that she had been proud of all her life. As it turns out, Dr. Bechley had paid for it. Could she discuss this with her father?

At the same time., Dr Bechley begins his volunteer work at a hospital, where he uncovers another Bechley baby.

'Almost Family' airs on Wednesdays at 9 pm ET/PT.
