All or Nothing: Arsenal: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reveals why he sports the star hairstyle while playing Tottenham
Former Arsenal captain and striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gets ample screentime in Amazon Prime Video's 'All or Nothing: Arsenal'. The fly-on-the-wall docuseries focusing on the Gunners' 2021-22 season also sees players getting candid and one of them was Auba's hairstyle story before every game against their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, who incidentally was the subject of the 'All of Nothing' series in 2020.
Premier League fans will remember Auba's star hairstyle where he cuts out a star on the side of his fade and the now-Barcelona FC forward broke the reason behind the hairdo for the first time. In Episode 2 titled 'The North London Derby', Auba is seen getting the buzz fade at the side and his stylist expertly carving out a star.

What is the story behind Aubameyang's star hairstyle ahead of every clash against Tottenham?
"Nobody knows the story," Auba starts off when the producer asks him if anyone knew the reasoning behind the hairstyle. "This is the first time I am telling to people why I am always doing a star while I am playing against Tottenham. Back in 2016, I lost my grandfather and we played against Tottenham that day. So, that's why I'm doing the star always against them because that day I remember I scored twice for him and I was really happy. That's why, since then, I always do something for him, so he's my star."
This is followed by his son asking him in French, "Are you getting the stars?" He then gives his father his seal of approval before his brother nods that he likes the hairdo as well. Needless to say, the move worked as the Gunners pipped their arch-rivals 3-1 in the North London Derby with Auba keeping up his good form against the Spurs. He made a goal in the 27th minute and had ample support from Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe finding the back of the net as well. Currently, the FC Barcelona forward is rumored to have been targeted by Chelsea. Only time will tell if he returns to the Premier League.
