Alec Baldwin returns to the set of 'Rust' after involuntary manslaughter charges were dropped
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Alec Baldwin has returned to film sets again after charges against him was dropped on Friday. Hailey Baldwin's dad resumed shooting the upcoming movie at the Yellowstone Film Ranch in Paradise Valley, Montana. The Santa Fe County District Attorney’s office announced last Thursday that it was dropping charges against Baldwin “without prejudice.” As we know the 'Saturday Night Live' alum vehemently denied ever pulling the gun’s trigger and pleaded not guilty in February. However, charges that were brought against Hannah Gutierrez-Reed. Nevertheless, Baldwin’s co-defendant and the on-set armorer at the time of the shooting have yet to be cleared. As a result, the Oscar nominee’s involvement in Hutchins’ death could still be investigated. Apart from Baldwin, the Joel Souza's upcoming film will also star Travis Fimmel, Brady Noon, Frances Fisher, and Jensen Ackles.

Alec Baldwin held a gun the wrong way on the new set of 'Rust,' a day after involuntary manslaughter charges were dropped against him relating to the fatal on-set shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. As per The New York Post, footage from the set in Montana showed the actor wearing a gray shirt and pants in combination with a brown overcoat and matching boots while holding a rifle by its barrel in his right hand.

Halyna Hutchins' wrongful death lawsuit
Halyna Hutchins, 42, was shot and killed October 21, 2021, after a prop gun held by Baldwin that turned out to contain live rounds discharged. Director Joel Souza was also wounded in the incident; Baldwin maintains that he did not pull the trigger. In October 2022, Baldwin and other 'Rust' producers settled a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Halyna's widower, Matthew Hutchins
