Former child actor Ke Huy Quan promises to help ‘Goonies’ co-star Corey Feldman revive his career despite being worried about his own
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Corey Feldman has requested ‘Goonies’ co-star Ke Huy Quan to help him revive his acting career after the Oscar winner’s remarkable comeback. The 51-year-old former child actor is reportedly hopeful that he can step back into Hollywood all through means of Quan’s assistance despite the latter being put in an awkward position.
Quan shared screens with Feldman in the 1985 adventure flick, almost four decades ago. After taking a nearly 20-year screen break, Quan returned to acting at 50 and secured an Oscar for best supporting actor for his role in the movie 'Everything Everywhere All At Once.' He has been bestowed the title of 'Forgotten talent to Oscars hero' for his unforeseeable comeback. “Corey is seeing Quan get this recognition after so many years out of the business and it’s making him hopeful it could happen for him, too,” told a source to RadarOnline. Thus, Feldman, who has not seen a hit film since the 80s, wants Quan to revive his career.

Quan 'promised to try and help'
According to the source, Feldman has been buttering up Quan since the night he won the Academy Award. The 'Stand By Me' actor reportedly called the Oscar winner on the night of his win and said: "We’re family forever." He even took to his social media and added words of praise for his childhood pal, saying, "I knew u could do it!" The source added, “Corey is considered a liability by certain people in the business. Ke is such a nice guy he still promised to try and help — even though there isn’t a lot he can do.”
Quan is worried about being forgotten again
While Quan has agreed to help Feldman to save his dying career, it appears that he is dealing with many of his issues at the moment. Sources claimed that the new star of Hollywood is worried that his big win might not help rebuild his career, leaving him forgotten for a second time. “Even though I just won an Oscar, I’m still really fearful of what tomorrow brings,” he admitted in his Oscar-winning speech. “I’ve been down this road before, and I’m so afraid that history is going to repeat itself. I said ‘Please, whatever you do, please make sure that does not happen.” Quan is nervous that he will not be able to bag future roles despite his noteworthy win.
