'Alaskan Bush People': The ranch grows bigger as the Browns add ostriches to their farm collection

Of all the people, Snow and Gabe looked the most excited as they were happy to have new animals join their ranch
PUBLISHED DEC 12, 2019

The Browns are one step closer to making their ranch bigger and the wolfpack decided to bring ostriches to their ranch. The Brows felt that the birds would be the best means for them to improve their livelihood while also bringing in cash flow into the family.

The family decided to keep some of the eggs of the ostriches for sale while using the rest for household purposes. Of all the people, Snow and Gabe looked the most excited as they were happy to have new animals join their ranch.

However, Rain seemed hesitant to interact with the new animals. She thought they looked scary and wanted nothing to do with them. Unlike her sister, Snow was invested in making sure the ostriches felt at home.

To make them feel more comfortable she decided to have their feathers on her head and hoped that it would make them feel like she was one of them. Snow thought that by imitating an ostrich they would accept her.

However, the family faced the fear of the ostriches being killed by bears after Noah's tent is demolished by them. To make sure the bears do not come to the house again, he decides to surround the tent with fences.

Meanwhile, Snow also ensures that the bears do not come near the ostriches and pairs up with Gabe to make sure the birds have a proper place to sleep.

The brother-sister duo digs a hole in the ground and places a comfortable board to ensure the ostriches has no problem. The family then collected the eggs laid by the ostriches and decided to prepare food with it.

Sticking to the classic, the wolfpack went on to make omelets. Everyone had a taste of it and soon realized that the eggs tasted good. They were happy that they had something to cook which would also bring in a flow of income for the family.

'Alaskan Bush People airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on Discovery Channel.
