Will Hilary Swank make an appearance in 'Cobra Kai' Season 6?

Swank's rumored cameo appearance on the hit Netflix martial arts dramedy has been doing the rounds now, but it was the actress's latest comments during the TCA presentation that added more substance to her role. While promoting her upcoming ABC series, 'Alaska Daily', she was asked about being part of the Miyagiverse to which she replied: “I was told that I’m supposed to only keep it to Alaska Daily, so I guess that question is for another time,” with a laugh.

'Cobra Kai' Season 5 premiered earlier this month on September 9 and is all set for a sixth season as well. There has been confirmation from show star Ralph Macchio that certain scenes for the next installment have already been filmed. Not only does this confirm that the show is on for a new season but also that production has begun on the floor. “There's stuff that they wrote in Season 3 that didn't happen until Season 4' cause there wasn't any more room in Season 3. There's stuff that was in Season 5 that we know we shot that is being held for the future if we get that green light, so there's more to come, we hope."

'Alaska Daily' releases Thursday, October 6th, 2022, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
