PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: In the highly anticipated premiere of 'America's Got Talent' Season 19, Learnmore Jonasi, a talented comedian from Zimbabwe, left both the judges and the live audience in stitches with his hilarious jokes and quick wit. His stand-up routine was a hit with everyone in attendance and set the bar high for the rest of the competition.

As Jonasi entertained the audience with his comedy routine, he shared hilarious anecdotes about the quirks of living in Zimbabwe. He playfully teased the distinctive driving habits of his fellow Zimbabweans and humorously remarked on the traditional practice of personally visiting someone's home, contrasting it with the modern trend of social media connections.

Jonasi's witty observations provided the audience with a delightful insight into the charming quirks of his homeland, eliciting laughter with his clever humor. The comic amusingly shared that his visit to America marked his first encounter with individuals of lower socioeconomic status from the Caucasian race.

Shortly after, the panel of judges, which consisted of Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell, took turns giving their critiques.

Howie praised Jonasi, calling him "truly amazing," while Heidi complimented his humor and appearance. Simon went a step further, declaring Jonasi as one of the funniest acts to ever grace the 'America's Got Talent' stage.

With the audience on the edge of their seats, Terry Crews made a bold move by hitting the golden buzzer for Jonasi, securing his spot in the live shows. However, despite Crews' enthusiastic gesture, some fans were divided, expressing disbelief and disapproval over Jonasi's advancement with the golden buzzer.

On X, a fan wrote, "This guy didn't deserve the golden buzzer lol, he's horrible." Another user echoed the same sentiments and shared, "Ikr Terry picked him for obvious reasons." One said, "Really Terry?!!?! So not funny."

Another fan quipped, "No damn way. Every act so far was better even the pitiful dog act. Agt starts off sucking like when the spoken word guy got the worst buzzer in history."

One fan wrote, "Sorry Terry. Not that funny."

Who is Learnmore Jonasi on 'AGT' Season 19?

Learnmore Jonasi was born Learnmore Mwenyeyeka on August 22, 1993, at Dangamvura Hospital in Mutare, Zimbabwe. He spent his formative years in Chimanimani, where he was raised by his grandparents, Partson and Lillian Mwanyenyeka, as he never knew his father.

Although he initially faced obstacles and was met with criticism from audiences, he persevered, regularly performing at open mic nights every Monday for two years, determined to bring joy and laughter to others.

After encountering difficulties establishing himself in Harare, Learnmore decided to try his luck in Bulawayo. It was in this city that he stumbled upon his comedic talent at the Umahlekisa comedy club. With his humorous stories about rural living, he swiftly earned the moniker 'The Village Boy from Chimanimani'.

Under the guidance of Ntando Van Moyo, Learnmore refined his talents and set off on a global tour that marked the beginning of his thriving comedic career. His journey from a humble Zimbabwean village to the spotlight of prestigious comedy venues serves as a shining example of his determination and natural ability.
