'AGT' Season 17: Heidi Klum calls Sam Cieri mix of 'Rob Stewart and John Mayer', fans say give him 'record deal'

Sam Cieri wowed the judges with his honesty and then won them over with his voice

There are no two ways about it, 'America's Got Talent' helps make dreams come true. As Sam Cieri of the Nicotine Dolls took to stage, the New Jersey resident explained that winning 'AGT' would certainly change his life. He noted that he came to the show because although he had been making music all his life, a month ago was the first time he was able to pay his bills with the money he made from his music. Before he made music, he painted and cleaned houses. But his dream is to be a musician and to be creative and that's what he wanted to continue doing.

And, 'America's Got Talent' was certainly the right place for him to achieve his dream, seeing that so far, singers such as Lily Meola, Ben Waites and Madison Taylor Baez have all made it through to the next round. Now, it was Cieri's time to shine.

While there was a heavy silence in the air before Cieri could begin, it was soon filled with cheers as he sang. His soulful and unique voice took everyone by surprise, with Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and the audience giving him a standing ovation. Heidi noted that if "Rob Stewart and John Mayer had a baby" it would have been Cieri. Sofia said that he was "different and sexy" and this was his moment. Simon Cowell joked that he must've swallowed a great singer since his singing persona was different from his regular one. That being said, Cieri bagged the three yeses he needed to advance ahead. Fans were gushing over Cieri as well "@SimonCowell Sign that man to a record deal now. Don’t wait. @AGT #AGT" tweeted a fan. "I don't know what I was expecting him to sound like, but it wasn't this. #AGT" added another. "Wow! I wasn’t expecting his voice to sound like that. Really surprising performance! #AGT" said a fan. "#AGT Best singer of the year. Instant live show pick IMO" said another.
