PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: 'America's Got Talent' Season 19 judge Simon Cowell has been known for criticizing the performers even for their slightest mistakes. However, the NBC show judge seemed to give sympathetic feedback to one of the contestants during the live show.

'AGT' star Richard Goodall performed Michael Bolton's 'How Am I Supposed to Live Without You' as a tribute to his fiancé, Angie, who recently had a heart attack. Although Richard's performance was good enough to advance to the next round, it was not worthy to win the competition. The performance was more like watching a karaoke and not a semi-final.

Simon claimed that Richard's performance was worth a million dollars and that he could win the show. He called Goodall "one of the most memorable contestants we've had for a long, long time." He added, "If you make it through, you really do have a shot (at) winning this whole competition."

Has 'AGT' Season 19 judge Simon Cowell ditched genuine criticism?

'AGT' Season 19 judge Simon Cowell seemed like he had forgotten that criticism is the way to perfection. The talent show judge notably needs to be critical which could help the viewers identify and vote for the deserving contestants.

Sadly, the NBC show judge hadn't given genuine feedback or pointed out their mistakes in the latest live episode. Simon has just complimented all the performances and moved ahead. Phillip Lewis notably dropped three balloons before lighting them on fire but instead of focusing on his mistakes, Simon praised him and complimented his personality.
