'AGT: Fantasy League' fans label Musa Motha 'overrated' as amputee dancer receives golden buzzer from Simon Cowell
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Musa Motha has made a notable appearance on 'America's Got Talent: Fantasy League' in multiple aspects.
Despite facing Visa issues at the beginning of the competition, Motha who overcame the loss of a leg due to cancer successfully reached the Semifinals. His incredible performance during the semi-finals was so impressive that it received the Golden Buzzer from judge Simon Cowell, causing the audience to cheer and applaud.
Motha became overwhelmed with emotion and started crying as the audience cheered and chanted his name.
The South African dancer embodies resilience as he had to have his left leg amputated at the age of 11 due to cancer. Motha decided to view the setback as a chance for growth and dedicated himself to physical therapy to learn how to walk with crutches.
Ahead of his performance, Motha said, "I pushed myself. I would say dance saved me in so many ways."
Soon after, the 'AGT' viewers began sharing their stance on Musa's performance.
A social media user said, "I found his timing out just a bit, kinda rushed with more smooth slower movements I think would have given it more of a buttery spread and would have expressed more emotion from him."
Followed by a user who penned, "I say he is odds on favorite to win agt fantasy league."
Another user added, "So many acts better than him, it is always the sob stories that get the Golden buzzer."
A comment read, "Overrated wtf."
An X user shared, "Musa Motha is a fine dancer but if you don't bring anything other than dancing to your act as a solo dancer and you aren't that great as a dancer in the first place, I think there's a problem for me there."

Musa Motha dropped the crutch in his semi-final performance
After resolving Visa problems, Motha finally performed live on the 'AGT' stage. He danced to 'The Village' by Wrabel, captivating the audience with his seamless spins, jumps, and fluid movements.
Despite using a single crutch, he gracefully moved across the stage as if it were an extension of himself.
The performance reached its peak when Motha bravely let go of the crutch, continued the act with only one leg, and demonstrated impressive acrobatic moves before regaining their balance.
At that point, a voice over the music said, "I’ve been told that it’s impossible, but I know I am possible."
