LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix is leaping by dropping 'Unseen.' The crime series from South Africa will come to Netflix, questioning the people's beliefs. The murder mystery from the producers of the hit series, 'Blood and Water' will blow audiences' minds. Travis Taute and Daryne Joshua's new series plot centers on a cleaning lady and circles around her attempt to find her missing husband. The crime series stars South African actress Gail Mabalane known for her work in 'The Wild' and 'The Road' as the lead.
'Unseen' will release on the OTT platform on March 29, 2023. There are six episodes in the first season, roughly 40 or 52 minutes in length. The audience is expected to gain insight into the life of "invisible" workers' who remain unnoticed and unappreciated for their work. The plot is similar to the FOX drama series 'The Cleaning Lady'. What is the plot of 'Unseen'?
The official synopsis of the crime-thriller traces the story of a common cleaning lady, Zenzi Mwale, who while undertaking a desperate search for her husband who went missing after his release from prison, unexpectedly murders a crime syndicate’s key player. To stay alive and out of prison is to continue killing, while she continues to search for her husband, and ultimately uncover a massive conspiracy involving a corrupt bank and powerful people. Zenzi Mwale does this by staying completely hidden behind her identity as the unremarkable help.
