'AGT: Fantasy League' fans furious after Billy and Emily England receive Mel B's golden buzzer
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'America's Got Talent: Fantasy League' kicked off with a series of stirring performances that amazed both judges and the viewers. However, the 'most dangerous' act bagged the season's first Golden Buzzer leaving the fans furious.
During the premiere episode, Mel B was granted the night's Golden Buzzer. Rollerblading sibling duo Billy and Emily England had a blast during their thrilling performance.
Billy was seen skating while swinging Emily around so close to the ground as he spun. The two concluded their performance with flaming knives attached to their skates.
The act left everyone speechless and on their feet, with Simon Cowell declaring their performance 'what the show is all about.' Howie Mandel noted that Simon was 'very lucky' to have the duo on his dream team.
Meanwhile, Mel B called Billy and Emily's performance 'spectacular'. Mel B used her golden buzzer and stole the sibling duo from Simon's team and sent them directly to the finale increasing their chance to win a coveted grand cash prize of $250,000.
However, the NBC show judge Mel B received backlash for pushing the buzzer for Billy and Emily despite having other deserving acts. An X user wrote, "Really? The Skaters? They have a handful of tricks. V Unbeatables were amazing."

Another Instagram user said, "I knew Mel was gearing up to give them the Golden Buzzer by the way she was overreacting. Paying back Simon maybe for her appearance? I mean they were good, but there was a lot of spinning."
Another internet user commented, "She could have saved the golden buzzer. Didn't find Billy and Emily golden buzzer worthy act."
