'AGT' fans were shocked to see picky Simon Cowell give his yes to such a bizarre act

Although Simon Cowell has the notorious reputation of being a very tough judge to please on 'America's Got Talent', sometimes the British television personality gives the audience a peek into his eccentric personality with his surprising decisions. Like when Simon decided to give his yes to Shenay Kloss's cockroaches obstacle act!

San Diego-based performer Shenay Kloss walked onto the 'AGT' stage claiming that she was going to showcase an animal act that was never featured on the talent-hunt show. She then walked to the judges- Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, and Heidi Klum's table and opened a box/ three cockroaches slid out of the box, and then Shenay laid out a miniature obstacle course for the three critters after introducing them as Simon, Sofia, and Heidi. While Sofia and Heidi were immediately put off even before the act began, Simon, on the other hand, was totally fascinated.

After Heidi pressed her no buzzer, Sofia tried doing the same but Simon blocked her. Simon watched the cockroaches jump cruise through the mini obstacle course in awe. Unfortunately for Simon, Sofia managed to get to the buzzer and gave her no. So, by the time Shenay was done with her act, she had already got two no's, but she got a yes from Simon. Due to Howie Mandel's absence, two no's meant that Shenay's stint on the show ended. Simon pointed out she would have made it through had Howie been there, but encouraged her to continue practicing and try again.

Many fans sided with Heidi and Sofia in expressing their disgust toward the cockroaches. A fan shared, "Wth a cockroaches stunt act. Come on security take her out of the building #AGT." "The cockroaches didn’t do anything, they had to be pushed. My guinea pigs do more, and they sleep most of the time. #agt," pointed out a fan. "Wait, why the hell would this roach girl go through? #AGT," questioned a fan. "Not a roach obstacle course #agt," declared a fan.
