But, if love blooms amid lies, what’s its fate? ‘A Winter Getaway’, Hallmark’s newest romantic movie, follows a tourist and a concierge, who go from being strangers to two people who are fond of each other. However, when the latter learns about the tourist’s true identity, how will it impact their newly-sparked romance?

‘A Winter Getaway’ will premiere on January 23 at p pm ET on Hallmark Channel.
Plot
The synopsis for the film reads, “When an average guy is gifted a luxury trip, he is mistaken as a millionaire. But then sparks fly with the lovely concierge. Will she feel the same way about him when she learns the truth?”
Cast
Brooks Darnell
American actor Brooks Darnell will be seen as Joe in ‘A Winter Getaway’. After being spotted at a local fair at the age of 16, Darnell singed with a talent agency and enrolled himself in the nationally acclaimed IMTA talent showcase, New York City competition. He stood third among over four hundred monologue contestants, which earned him a position in the prestigious Conservatory theater school in San Francisco.
In 2001, he signed a modeling deal with the agency BMG and became their first African American male client to feature on their roster. Darnell’s film and television credits include ‘Shadowhunters’, ‘Total Recall’, ‘Bones, and ‘The New Edition Story’.
Nazneen Contractor
Nazneen Contractor will be playing the role of Courtney in the movie. She is an acclaimed actress famous for featuring in shows and movies such as ‘24’, ‘Rules of Engagement’, ‘Lone Star’ and ‘Last Resort’ among others. In 2013, she was seen as the devoted wife and mother in Paramount’s feature film ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’. Besides her accomplishments in the entertainment world, Contractor is also recognized for her philanthropic work. She is a supporter of Second Harvest, a charity for the homeless, and Look Good Feel Better, dedicated to women with cancer.

‘A Winter Getaway’ is directed by Steven R Monroe and written by SW Sessions. Lincoln Lageson, Stan Pry and Eric Scott Woods have executive produced the film.
