'A real life inflatable person': Internet slams '90 Day Fiance’ star Darcey Silva's excessive plastic surgeries
MIDDLETOWN, CONNECTICUT: It’s true that most celebrities edit their photos before uploading them to social media platforms, especially the photo-sharing app Instagram. From the Kardashians to the Bravo housewives, all are guilty of putting on a “perfect appearance” for social media. Plenty of celebrities have even admitted to going under the knife. And '90 Day Fiance’ star Darcey Silva is well-known for doing both.
However, while the '90 Day Fiance' star loves to “edit” her physical and digital appearance, her critics and, at times, even her fans strongly disapprove of her many surgeries. It is not uncommon to find comments slamming the star’s Instagram posts featuring her heavily edited and surgically enhanced face. Even now, when the TLC star posted a new photo of herself, the internet was quick to slam her for her multiple surgeries that have turned her into a different person. Some even claimed that she resembled an "inflatable person."

On Sunday, December 19, Darcey uploaded a new photo to Instagram, which she captioned, “Keeping my eyes on the prize! Love you all!!” The image featured the reality star wearing a stylish white cap with gold accents, a matching white tank top and a chain sling across one shoulder. However, what caught most netizens’ attention were the TLC star’s huge lips and visibly edited face. One person commented on the photo, “Why isn’t there space between your lip and your nose?” While another slammed her for her caption and wrote, “She’s keeping her EYE on the prize cause the other one got f****d up in that surgery in Turkey.” A few also noted her unedited neck as one penned, “My God your neck.” And someone added, “Why is her neck all aged and wrinkled yet her face is baby smooth....oh filters...then why spend all that money on surgery if you insist on using filters??? Why do people photo shop their face and forget the neck which shows your age???”
A social media user also bashed the reality star by writing, “What’s the prize? Most f****d up plastic surgery?” As one quipped, “Prize must have been a lifetime supply of Botox and fillers.” Another chimed in with, “More like keeping her eye on the surgeon.” An annoyed netizen chastised Darcey by writing, “I don't understand why plastic surgeons allow people to do too much to their face. I think it is so wrong. The filters make it look even worse. Her neck gives it all away. Darcy grow old gracefully girl. When you get to your sixties I can only imagine how ridiculous it's gonna look. What kind of an example are you setting for your girls?” While one social media user noted, “Wow! She transformed herself into a real life inflatable different person that still can’t get a man. Just sad.”
