'A Piece of Your Mind' Episode 11: Jung Hae-in's Ha Won confesses his love for Chae Soo-bin's Seo-woo
'A Piece of Your Mind' Episode 11 sees Ha Won (Jung Hae In) try harder than ever before to get a chance to talk to Ji Soo's (Park Joo Hyun) husband Kang In-wook (Kim Sung Gyu). He had repeatedly stated that there is no resentment that he harbors towards In-wook but all he wants to do is ascertain facts surrounding his mother's death. The one person who stands in his way of finding out the truth is none other than his niece Moon Soon-ho (Lee Ha Na). However, once and for all, Ha Won ends up finding out the reason for his mother's death. He books the entire concert hall to get a chance to confront In-wook and that's how he finds out that his mother's death was really an accident.
It was an accident caused by a thoughtless thing that In-wook had said to Ha Won's mother and to entirely blame him for her death wouldn't be fair but that is exactly what In-wook had been worried about the most. The only way In-wook can move forward from this is if he is forgiven by Ha Won. The problem is that In-wook is worried about how Ha Won would react and if anything is going to help him move on from the grief that he is feeling at the moment. He also keeps wondering if Ji Soo and Ha Won met towards the end. So when Moon-ho ends up meeting In-wook after his recital, she tells him that it is important that he now takes the effort to meet Ha Won and find out how he could express his regret.
She also tells him how Ha Won lived his life in the last nine years without his family, the only girl he had loved from when he was young and how despite all of the difficulty he managed not to abandon himself. Instead, he focused on his work and on living itself. She wants In-wook to understand the effect of his words and yet, she doesn't blame him directly.
He ends up at the studio, unsure of what to do next when he meets a man who is at the studio to record his voice for the device. That's when he has an epiphany about Ji Soo's device and instead of concentrating on how to apologize, he ends up contacting Soon-ho to check where the company that records voices are situated. Soon-ho is pissed off that this man is obsessively continuing on a path that is sure to hurt him instead of expressing how sorry he is towards Ha Won.
So Soon-ho instead tries to apologize to Ha Won for standing in the way of finding the truth. Ha Won finally responds to her call after receiving support from Seo-woo (Chae Soo Bin) himself. Seo-woo not only stands up to Soon-ho but also tells her to give Ha Won a chance to learn the truth, the answer to the question that has been a part of his life for nine longs years.
Seo-woo accepts his love, stays by his side as he accepts the news about his mother's death, and tries to move on from it all to live his life. So Ha Won is definitely at a healthier place to forgive Soon-ho. That is also how Ha Won learns about Seo-woo and In-wook's confrontation as well. Just the day before, Ha Won had confessed that he loved Seo-woo. Ha Won had finally found a way to let go of his past to move forward but In-wook, yet again commented about something that he doesn't understand. He tells Seo-woo that there is no way she can come between Ha Won and Ji Soo, even if she is dead.
Without understanding the connection that Seo-woo has with Ji Soo, he assumes that she would be as insecure as him when it comes to Ji Soo's relationship with Ha Won and that leads to a loud argument that Soon-ho overhears. Now that the recital is over and Soon-ho has also given up hope for In-wook to step up and apologize, Soon-ho calls Ha Won and tells him how In-wook had treated Seo-woo. This seems like the push that Ha Won needed to confront the man who was incidental in causing his mother's death. But will it get violent?
