Sophie Dixon (Lizzy Greene) is out to prove herself in the latest episode of ABC's 'A Million Little Things'. When the opportunity to get into Julliard along with a new coach comes along, Sophie doesn't want to miss it. But when she meets Peter, a highly skilled music teacher who works with young artists and almost every time gets them into the prestigious music institute, things don't go as per plan. His style is not all that gentle and he refuses to work with Sophie after the audition. Played by Andrew Leeds, we wonder if this Peter is going to be sticking around for longer and is not just guest appearance this episode.

Leeds currently plays the role of Zoey's brother David on NBC's 'Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist'. He is also known for his work for his role of Josh on 'Cristela', Christopher Pelant on 'Bones' and Jackson Pulver on 'Veep'.

After the audition, Peter said Sophie might have played beautifully but music for her is just a mere hobby and that it lacked the real passion for them to continue this association forward. Gary Mendez (James Roday Rodriguez) walks up on the stage and gives Peter an earful about why he should be more polite with students. As much as we love Gary and this new dad persona, this was completely unnecessary because Peter was anything but rude. And fans pointed this out too. "Oh, are we gonna get Gary yelling at the teacher? Because the guy wasn't wrong at all. He was very polite," one said on Reddit.

Regardless of what Peter said, he might come around to working with Sophie. Later in the episode, he is walking down the road with his wife when he sees Sophie play by the road. Sophie holds a small but substantial audience and his wife says, "Wow!" Eventually, he agrees to take Sophie on. He might have picked all his students for the program, but he also takes private lessons and will help Sophie with her music school auditions. Eventually, even Gary phones Sophie and apologizes and then shows up with his regular banter.

'A Million Little Things' Season 3 will now be going on his winter break and will return on March 4, 2021.
