'A Million Little Things' Season 2 Episode 10: Eric's lies and his shadiness leaves viewers fuming

After a solid month-long wait, ABC's 'A Million Little Things' returned with its tenth episode 'The Kiss'. Picking up its story three months after the events of its fall break, we meet Sophie Dixon (Lizzy Greene) who continues to foster resentment towards her mother Delilah (Dixon, played by Stephanie Szostak). She refuses to listen to her and goes on to defy Delilah on more than one instance.
And many fans find themselves thinking that Sophie is right in behaving this way. "Sophie is the only one acting like someone in this situation would understandably act," said a fan. "No one is on your side Delilah," chimed in another fan. Sophie's reaction seems natural and very organic, which makes her an interesting character with the show's return. "Overall this was a really good episode. The character I’m most invested in at the moment is Sophie, it’ll be interesting to see how things play out," noted a fan.
What has taken the show's fandom by surprise is the show finally revealing what is up with Eric (Jason Ritter). We had predicted a long time ago that Eric's character has a shady background. And in the return episode, it is revealed that Eric doesn't have a scar! This means he hasn't had the heart transplant from Maggie's (Bloom, Allison Miller) brother as he had claimed. Add to that Maggie's growing feelings for him (yes guys, we're equally weirded out because, in her mind, Eric has Chad's heart, which makes the situation really strange) and all of this becomes a perfect recipe for disaster.
"Dude, honestly, f**k Eric," said an angry fan, adding that whatever his reasons may be, a heart transplant is not something to lie about. "What a f**kin' lame thing to lie about. Nevermind how Maggie's attraction to him is weird in and of itself all things considered, but like nah. You don't f**kin' make that s**t up and lie to someone about something that serious." "Who LIES about being a heart recipient omg," said another.
This whole reveal has us wondering if Maggie's mother was also fooled into believing that Eric has Chad's heart. In the promo for the next episode, Gary (Mendez, played by James Roday) is shown in a tussle with Eric. Following the confrontation, it is also revealed that Gary has been arrested. Will Maggie find out about Eric?
