Netflix is returning with a third installment to its 'Christmas Prince' franchise as a royal baby is on its way! ‘A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby’ with Rose McIver and Ben Lamb playing the lead, will be mirroring royal couple Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s journey. The posters and images from the holiday film surfacing on the internet have managed to get a lot of attention, thanks to the majestic portrayal of the characters and the regal elements that they encompass. But, will Netflix’s latest offering serve good to the movie buffs? Read on!

‘A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby’ has been scheduled to release on Netflix on December 5.

Plot: 

In ‘A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby’, Queen Amber and King Richard of Aldovia plan a break from their roles as they are expecting their first child and a new addition to the royal family. But, the couple has a task to embark on before turning parents. They need to host King Thai and Queen Ming of Penglia to renew one of their old truces. Queen Amber finds herself in a tough position when she realizes that the treaty is missing. She has until Christmas eve to find it, but will her royal highness be able to get her hands on the missing documents and impress the guest by completing the task successfully?

Rose McIver is seen as Queen Amber in ‘ A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby.' She’s a known face in Netflix’s ‘Christmas Prince’ franchise owing to her appearance in the previous installments. Aside from featuring her highness, Rose is also popular for essaying medical examiner Olivia Moore in The CW’s Zombie. She made debut in films in 1993 with the period drama ‘The Paino’ and went on to feature in ‘Predicament’, ‘Blinder’ and her latest ‘Daffodils.'
 
Ben Lamb

The English actor is known for featuring Anthony Rivers in ‘The White Queen’ and Owen Case in ‘Now You See Me 2.' The ‘Christmas Prince’ franchise marked his foray into Netflix. After appearing as Prince Richard in the original, Lamb reprised his role in the ‘The Royal Wedding’ and ‘The Royal Baby.'
He played Major Robert Ellis in Swati Bhise ‘The Warrior Queen of Jhansi’ which was initially titled ‘Swords & Scepters.'

Sarah Douglas plays Mrs. Averill, Amber’s flamboyant designer. She established herself as a remarkable actress by essaying the Kryptonian supervillain Ursa in ‘Superman’ and ‘Superman 2.' She also appeared in one of the episodes of ‘Supergirl’ in 2018. Douglas has earned a reputation for playing the infamous antagonist in several movies, including the evil Queen in ‘Conan the Destroyer’ and ‘Falcon Crest.'

John Schultz, the mind behind the first two installments of ‘Christmas Prince’ has helmed ‘A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby’ as well. ‘The Honeymooners’, ‘Aliens in the Attic’ and ‘Drive Me Crazy’ are a few among his well-known projects. Nathan Atkin has taken care of the screenplay, while Karen Schaler has created the characters.
