'90 Day Fiancé: Self Quarantined': Evelin and Corey find a dead body floating in water, say it was 'terrifying'
Corey Rathgeber and Evelin Villegas have been having a hard time reaching an understanding and it seems like their relationship has been hanging by a thin thread. Corey and Evelin have had their issues on and off throughout their six-year relationship and things do not seem to get any better.
In the latest episode (June 1), Corey revealed he has a "dog house room", which is a room that he has for himself and he comes to stay in it whenever he has a fight with Evelin. Corey revealed few months before their wedding, Evelin decided to be on a break and it was a period that made him rethink their relationship. Corey had always wanted to settle down with Evelin but things were not looking good. To make things worse, Evelin was under the impression that Corey cheated on her with another girl when he went to Peru. Evelin found pictures of him with another girl and it made her wonder if he was serious about the relationship.
Corey confessed about his feelings to his friend, Raul. He hinted he liked another girl he had met in Peru and she was beautiful. However, he finally made up his mind to stick with Evelin. One thing to bring them closer had been the death of a person living in the town. Evelin revealed they found a dead body floating in the water that later came towards the shore. Evelin admitted she had never seen a dead body before and that person happened to be someone everyone in the town knew. Calling the situation "extremely terrifying", she confessed that it was good to have Corey by her side as it did not make her feel alone.
While it looked like things have been better between the two, the pair gave a glimpse of how things had changed in Ecuador after coronavirus started taking over people's lives. Evelin revealed that most of the houses have had deaths due to Covid-19 and admitted it was not a good place to be in. With curfew being imposed and their beachside bar getting closed, the couple is also facing financial problems. Despite this, Corey and Evelin hinted that they are trying to work things out and facing everything one day at a time.
