'90 Day Fiance' Season 9: Bilal slammed for 'gaslighting' Shaeeda with 'cruel joke'

Fans demanded that Bilal drop the pranks and tests, unless he was a 'Prince from Zamunda'

When it comes to '90 Day Fiance', it's almost a running theme to see people get into relationships just to score a green card. The tell-tale signs of this happening is often an extreme age gap or cultural differences. But these certainly aren't the prerequisites seeing that anyone can get scammed.

But to make these assumptions without any real evidence is often a reach. And it looks like this season, Bilal is making some dangerous assumptions that could cost him his relationship.

With Bilal worried that Shaeeda might want him for his money alone, he decided to play a 'prank' on her by picking her up in a work van and taking her to his childhood home for the night instead of his current house. Despite his ex-wife suggesting otherwise, for Bilal, this was a test of character, one that fans disagreed with right from the start. Bilal went through with his plan, and obviously, Shaeeda was not thrilled with what she saw.

Her complaints seemed valid; Bilal's family house had considerable water damage, with peeling walls and ceilings. While Bilal went on about how some people don't have homes and whatnot, Shaeeda made it clear she wanted a better life with him. He asked if she would continue to complain or help him build something better, and while she stated that she'd do both, he was not okay with her answer. He even brought religion into play to support his argument.

Fans wasted no time calling him out. "“I don’t need no complaining” so she is suppose to accept whatever? Bilal is essentially saying this is what it is and if you don’t go with it you’re a gold digger. #90DayFiance" tweeted a fan. "I’m mad that’s he’s really trying to sell his home and make it seem like she should be overjoyed about his house… Just knowing that he’s low key tricking/testing her , I’m sorry he needs a good cussing out !!! #90DayFiance" added another. "I don't know how I feel about people showing people they're dating a fake horrible house/car they own to "test" the person. If you're not a Prince from Zamunda, stop that mess. #90DayFiance" stated another. "Bilal saying “where in the Quran does it say to provide a mansion” like??? Where in the Quran does it say to play such a cruel joke on the woman who just uprooted her life for you? #90DayFiance" added another. "This gaslighting bastard!
