'90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After : Asuelu's mom greets him with a kiss, Internet asks 'was he making out?'

Asuelu Pulaa finally meets his family but their traditional greeting has left the viewers feeling awkward

Asuelu Pulaa had been eagerly waiting to meet his family and he finally got a chance to meet them. The latest episode (August 9) saw Kalani Faagata and Asuelu arriving in Washington to reunite with his family. The pair did not have a great start to their trip as they were convinced their rented house was haunted. 

Asuelu revealed that he had seen a ghost when he was heading to the bathroom at night. Recalling that the shadow of the ghost looked that of a small girl, he was quick to add that he did not want to stay in the place. Meanwhile, Kalani revealed that she too had heard some whispers in the night. The two had reached the conclusion that they would not be staying in the house anymore. While viewers thought that it would be the end of awkward conversations between them, things changed when he met his mother, Lesina Pulaa. Asuelu and Lesina shared a kiss as soon as they met each other.

Seeing how close Asuelu was getting to his mother, Kalani and her sister, Kolini felt uncomfortable. She poked fun at them getting close and admitted that it looked like they were making out from where she was standing. However, Asuelu tried to defend their actions and made it clear that they were not making out. 

Kalani was not the only one who felt uncomfortable with the situation. People were quick to react to the scene and admitted that it looked like Asuelu was making out with his mother. "Asuelu’s mom was definitely almost making out with him. Now I fully understand his weird behaviors," said one user. 

"Asuelu’s mom making out with him while everyone just awkwardly stands around watching," said another. "Asuelu got mad at Kalani bc she said it looked like he was making out with his mom but that's exactly what it looked like," another added. 

"I’ve kissed family on lips (1 sec) all my life (raised this way) and THIS kiss is out of control and NOT right," said another. There is no doubt that the scene has raised a lot of eyebrows. Did you think that the greeting was a bit uncomfortable?
