'90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After': What happened to Angela's mother? Reality star fears the worst after a call
Angela Deem and Micheel Ilesanmi finally said their I do's in the latest episode (September 13) of the show. The pair had been waiting to get married in the US but decided to change plans when Michael was unable to get a visa. Angela agreed to get married hoping that this would help him come to the US.
While the pair went through their ups and downs their wedding had been a successful one. The two were all set to have some fun, but their celebration was cut short when Angela received a phone call from her daughter Skyla. Angela was informed that her mother, Glenda Standridge, was not doing well and had been rushed to the hospital.
Before coming to Nigeria, Angela feared for her mother's health. She noticed that her mother was unwell and had been having a hard time healthwise. Despite this, she decided to fly down to Nigeria because her mother pushed her to go get married.
Glenda was aware that Angelina and Michael had been trying to get married in the US but his visa was posing a problem. Hoping that this would allow her to happy, Glenda agreed for Angela to go to Nigeria and get married to Michael. Angela had hoped that she would get married again in the US once Michael got his visa approved.
Unfortunately, her mother never got to see that. In February, the reality star confirmed the news about her mother's passing. While the cause of her death is unknown, Angelina had been vocal about her mother's health condition in the past. Even before leaving for Nigeria, Angela feared that she may not see her mother again.
The reality star broke her silence on Instagram in February and confirmed the news of her mother's death by writing, "We love you mom, But God loves you more! Rest in peace mama. We love and will miss you." She even thanked her fans for all the wishes.
Angela also remembered her mother on Mother's Day as she shared a post about her alongside a picture of her. "Mother, I need you so much, I wish you were here. However, it comforts me to know that I did everything I could for you. Happy Mother's Day to you in heaven," she wrote.
