Lisa and Usman got married in the season finale of the show but their fairytale married life soon turned out to be a nightmare. Usman decided to block Lisa when he felt she was getting too involved with his work. He also made it clear that he was not looking for a green card. Usman revealed that Lisa had been asking for his birth certificate for the last nine months to get the visa process started but it was his decision to not give it to her. The reason being Usman feared going to the US. He admitted that Lisa and he fought a lot and he was uncertain how this would turn out in the US.

He confessed that there was fear in him about going to the US because he would have no one by his side. Usman stated that Lisa had the opportunity to call the cops on him and he may be sent to prison because he is black. Uncertain of how things would be for him in the US, Usman thought it would be best to stay in a place where he has already gained a lot of success.

Usman further revealed that he did not marry Lisa for love and married her because of pity. He hinted that if things went the way they are doing now, the relationship would not last long. He also shed light on Lisa's earnings. Usman revealed Lisa made nearly $10,000 in a month and how that was low for someone living in the US.

He revealed he made a $1000 a week but it was different because the economy in Nigeria is low. Usman stated he had a good career and had been working on his music career for a long time. While he did not want to come to the US to meet Lisa, he admitted he wanted to come to meet people like Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Jo Jo Siwa, Miley Cyrus and others who have contacted him after watching the show.
