'90 Day Fiancé': 'How could you help someone die?' Varya asks Geoffrey after he reveals his criminal past
Geoffrey Paschel and Varya Malina have had their ups and downs, but the pair managed to get through it. While they were happily looking forward to the future, Geoffrey knew that he still has to open up about his past that might break the relationship.
The reality star confessed that he wanted to let Varya know that he had been imprisoned for a couple of years for selling drugs, but was worried how she would react. After gathering all the courage, Geoffrey finally confessed to Varya. He explained that he had gone to prison for nearly two years and got into the habit of selling drugs because they were poor and drugs were an easy way for money.
Varya was left shocked and revealed that drugs has left so many families hurt. She added that she had a cousin who died because of drugs and his mother was inconsolable. She was finding it hard to wrap her head around what had happened and questioned Geoffrey, "How could you help someone to die?"
Geoffrey revealed that he did not think about the consequences and it did not affect him so much. Varya questioned what would he have done had that been his child. Geoffrey was surprised by the question but decided to answer it. He revealed that his children know about it and they even visited him in prison.
He confessed that he is now trying to live his life by setting an example. However, Varya was not happy with his answers. He added that prison was a wake-up call for him. She revealed that she would not have met him or even taken him to meet his mother if she had known about his prison life before.
She told Geoffrey that it was a lot for her to take in and she needed some time to process things. She further expressed her thoughts about the relationship and hinted that she wanted to press pause in their relationship to see what was for them ahead. Geoffrey decided to agree with Varya's request but wondered if their relationship was alright.
While he does not have any answers at the moment, only the upcoming episodes can tell what lies ahead for the pair.
