'7500': Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about the Joseph Gordon-Levitt starrer thriller coming to Amazon Prime
Making its first appearance at the Locarno Film Festival on August 9, 2019, '7500' is the story of one pilot, trying to keep his flight together after the plane he's flying gets hijacked. Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the film features the directorial debut of Patrick Volrath and is finally set to debut on Amazon Prime for US audiences.

Plot
'7500' follows the story of co-pilot Tobias Ellis (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), as the plane he is flying gets hijacked by terrorists. Ellis manages to just about lock himself in the cockpit before they can make their way in, though he injures his arm doing so. Now trapped in the cockpit, Ellis must stick official policy to keep that door closed, despite the hostages that the terrorists take right outside his door, including his own girlfriend. The movie's title is taken from 7500, the airline code for hijacking.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as Tobias Elliot, a pilot trying to keep the terrorists from overtaking the plane. He is the film's most recognizable star, known for his roles in 'Inception,' 'The Dark Knight Rises,' 'Looper' and many more.
Aylin Tezel
Aylin Tezel plays Gokce, a flight attendant and the girlfriend of Tobias. Tezel is a German actress and dancer known for her main role in the film 'Almanya: Welcome to Germany', and 'Am Himmel der Tag' ('Breaking Horizons') - the latter of which won her the Best Actress Award at the Torino Film Festival in 2012. The film also stars Omid Memar as Vedat, Murathan Muslu as Kenan, and Aurelie Thepaut as Nathalie.

The trailer for the movie unveils a claustrophobic setting, with Tobias Elliot quickly trapped in the cockpit, forced to watch as the terrorists take over the plane despite being able to open the door and do something about it.
