47th Daytime Emmy Awards 2020 Nominations: ‘General Hospital’ and ‘Days of Our Lives’ top the list

The complete list of nominations for the 47th annual Daytime Emmy Awards was announced on Thursday (May 21) during an episode of ‘The Talk’. The list announced by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences saw fan-favorite ‘General Hospital’ and ‘Day of Our Lives’ receive quiet the few nods with the former nabbing a total of 23 nominations, followed by ‘The Young and the Restless’ and ‘The Bold and the Beautiful.' 

Meanwhile, talk shows with the highest number of nominations include ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, ‘Live with Kelly and Ryan’, ‘Red Table Talk’, and ‘The View’. CBS, which has garnered the most nominations, announced on Wednesday (May 20) that it’ll air the program in June. The awards will be presented with the winners and guests appearing from their homes due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The 47th Daytime Emmy Awards will air on June 26 at 8/7c on CBS, reports People.
