GLAAD Media Awards 2021: Air time, how to live steam, full performers list featuring Sabrina Carpenter, Lilly Singh and Sam Smith
The GLAAD Media Awards 2021, the prestigious ceremony to recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community and the issues that affect their lives will be taking place on April 8, as the 32nd edition of the show. Chika, Sabrina Carpenter, and Rebecca Black will be among the performers for the show.
Along with a star-studded performance lineup, GLAAD 2021 will also reunite the ‘GLEE’ cast with pop queen Demi Lovato introducing Jacob Artist, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Vanessa Lengies, Jane Lynch, Kevin McHale, Heather Morris, Matthew Morrison, Alex Newell, Amber Riley, Harry Shum Jr., Becca Tobin, and Jenna Ushkowitz.

The 32nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards will be live-streamed on GLAAD’s YouTube channel at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on April 8. The award show will also be on Hulu from April 8 at 10 pm ET/7 pm PT and will be available for streaming on-demand through June.
Host
Comedian Niecy Nash will be hosting the ceremony and Nash's wife, Jessica Betts, will be appearing on the show.

CHIKA, Rebecca Black, and Niecy Nash’s wife Jessica Betts will perform during the 32nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards. Sabrina Carpenter will also appear for an exclusive performance only available on Hulu.

Moreover, GLAAD will be reuniting the cast of 'GLEE'. The award ceremony will pay a tribute to the legacy of the late Naya Rivera’s character Santana Lopez. The segment intends to honor the ten-year anniversary of Santana’s coming out on the GLAAD Media Award-winning series and also put the focus on the character’s immense impact on teen LGBTQ culture and how it constituted a new era of Latinx LGBTQ representation on television.

TikTok Queer Advocate of the Year
GLAAD has also revealed that the award ceremony will have a special segment for ‘TikTok Queer Advocate of the Year’. GLAAD has previously acknowledged the queer creators of the platform who help build visibility of the community. GLAAD and TikTok previously announced the creators nominated for the recognition featuring Denise & Ebony (@team2moms), Kyne (@onlinekyne), Crissa Jackson (@crissa_ace), Chris Olsen (@olsennchris), Ian Paget (@ianpaget_), Josh Helfgott (@joshhelfgott), Ve’ondre Mitchell (@veondre), Austin Chiang, MD MPH (@austinchiangmd), and Christine Marshall (@chrissycanthearyou). The winner will be announced on the night of the GLAAD Media Awards ceremony.
