'1000-LB Best Friends' star Vanessa Cross reveals mystery smoothie ingredient, horrifying co-stars Meghan and Tina
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: On March 8, 2023, Season 2 of '1000-LB Best Friends' came to end, and what a journey it was! The season finale saw Meghan Crumpler getting cold feet at her wedding but her friends eventually talked her out of her fears. Vanessa Cross is finally one step closer to getting her excess skin removed.
The fans are sad to say goodbye to these best friends, but the journey is not over! There is still more to come.
TLC has released a preview clip teasing that the '1000-LB Best Friends' stars will return to spill some tea this Wednesday, March 15, at their usual time. Tina and Meghan are enticed by the producers to try out Vanessa's smoothie and their reactions are hilarious. What is the secret ingredient in Vanessa Cross' smoothie?
As Tina and Meghan try out Vanessa's smoothies and evidently hate them, they are curious to know what she put in there. Tina takes guess that the brown sludge most probably has Kale and cucumber in that. On the other hand, Meghan hopes there wasn't any fish in it. But they are horrified to know the mystery component in Vanessa's smoothie.
When Tina asks, "What more is in that?" it is revealed that the smoothie has some orange and lime in it, which is perfectly normal. But the shocker is that the smoothie has blue-green algae too. This makes Meghan gasp in horror and cry out, "Why would you feed me that?" She goes on to add, "Who does this for fun?"

In the upcoming spill-the-tea session of '1000-LB Best Friends', Vanessas' smoothie is reviewed by her friends Tina and Meghan. Though their reactions might not be what she was expecting. The two best friends can't help but gag after gulping down the smoothie in one shot. Tina even exclaimed, "This might make me hurl." After trying it out, Tina is pretty sure Vanessa has added "boogers in it."
Though it's Meghan's reaction that takes the cake. At first, she raises a skeptical eyebrow and goes on to say, "No, please don't do this to me." But after she swallows the drink, she can't help but curse it. Her over-the-top gasp at the end when it's revealed that Vanessa adds algae to the smoothie is the highlight. She was horrified that they would give her something like this.
