LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: This week on 'The Bachelor', Zach Shallcross is trying something new: he's bringing all of the ladies on a date. He revealed that two group dates and one intimate one-on-one date have been planned. The women from the group date hang out with Zach at an afterparty following an "incredible group date," according to Zach. One contestant was determined to make the most of her time with the Bachelor since she believed she hasn't gained validation from him.

Brianna Thorbourne, a contestant on 'The Bachelor' 2023, has a head start on the race for Zach Shallcross' heart. The America's First Impression Rose brought her safety at the first rose ceremony. For Brianna, the rose she received on the Season 19 finale of 'The Bachelorette' turned out to be more of a curse than a blessing. Some of her fellow 'The Bachelor' Season 27 contestants said she shouldn't talk to Zach on night one since she was already safe. Although the other Bachelor contestants were envious of Brianna, she did have a good conversation with Zach before the rose ceremony.

Brianna desperate to get a rose from Zach after group date

Brianna was insecure about Zach's feelings for her on Monday night's episode. She also felt alienated by the other ladies. Brianna appeared to be uneasy with her position on the show so far, which was unavoidable given that she was placed in such a difficult situation before the season even began. Brianna begins sobbing as she tells Zach about her troubles so far since she is uncomfortable at the mansion. She admits that she was considering leaving the show since she "had no support system." "I see something in you, so I don't want you to feel uncomfortable or weird," Zach tells Brianna.

Fans accuse Brianna of 'fake crying'

Katherine Izzo was the recipient of the first group date rose. Brianna "panicked" when she didn't receive the rose and described it as a "slap in the face."

Fans took to social media to call Brianna out. One of them wrote, "Brianna was 100% gunning for the sympathy rose." Another person added, "Sucks to say but I just don’t see any connection between Zach and Brianna."

Accusing her of 'fake crying', one viewer tweeted, "My fiancé said brianna is there to promote her makeup company and that she was fake crying to see if zach would feel sympathy." Another person added, "Ok Brianna with the fake tears I see you." Some fans think she should already move on from the show, "Brianna is her own worst enemy right now. She should just go straight to Paradise."

Describing her kiss with Zach, a viewer wrote, "Brianna's forced pick me kiss was painful to watch." One fan quipped, "Drink every time Brianna says she was chosen by america." Some fans while agreeing with Brianna wrote, "You see? Christina stood out to Zach from the AFR girls, not Brianna. That americas rose thing was really a curse. Damn."
