Zayn Malik’s ‘F**k the Grammys’ tweet caused quite just before the 63rd edition of the award ceremony but looks like that is all in the past as the singer is now all set for his brand new song with the very talented Ingrid Michaelson. The former One Direction crooner will be featured in Michaelson’s new single called ‘To Begin Again’.

The 28-year-old singer-songwriter also shared the same on his Instagram stories where we can see a short text teaser revealing the name of the song along with the name of both the artists. Zayn Malik had released his third studio effort titled ‘Nobody Is Listening’ in January 2021. A song titled ‘Better’ from the same album was released in September 2020. He also dropped a few singles last year like ‘Focus’ and ‘Hurt’.

Zayn Malik and Ingrid Michaelson’s brand new single ‘To Begin Again’ was earlier scheduled to hit the Internet on March 17, 2021, but it may now release on March 18.

Concept

Both the artistes teased their new collaboration on Instagram where it was promised to the fans that the single will be released on March 17, however, to everyone’s disappointment, the track did not make it to streaming platforms. At the time of the release, a countdown was shared on Instagram stories by Michaelson which further pushed the date. To further assure her fans, the 41-year-old crooner also tweeted, “I promise it’s worth the wait my loves. #ToBeginAgain”

'Here we are beginning the wait again'

Fans were elated to hear the news of the new single but a few also got sad over pushing the release date of the same. One user said, “The way it is 'To Begin Again' and here we are beginning the wait again,  it was zayn's idea me thinks.” Another added, “Ok so zayn said his next single is his favorite and to begin again is his next single so just hear me out something happened behind the scenes and RCA forced him to push back the release time bc i can already picture this song being so loud.” The next one said, “So this is what Zayn meant to begin again? The countdown.” One individual asserted, “Begin again is one of my most favourite taylor swift song, i can't wait for what zayn has to bring us with his song with the same title.” One concluded, “Zayn what is going on with ‘To Begin Again’. Did you play us?”
