'You're so petty': Teresa Giudice's recent jab at Melissa Gorga doesn't sit well with 'RHONJ' fans
BALI, INDONESIA: Teresa Giudice cuddles up to her new in-laws while on holiday in Bali. Her latest Instagram post with a snarky caption, however, has ignited a debate among her followers: is it another dig at her OG sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga?
The reality star shared some envious holiday photos. Teresa is having fun in the sun with new family members Jennifer Ruelas and Dr Veronica Ruelas, who are the sisters of Teresa's second husband, Luis "Louie" Ruelas, whom she married last year. Teresa shared a new picture on Instagram of the women relaxing in Bali's balmy and sunny weather while wearing fashionable gowns. The caption that accompanied the post, however, is what has people talking.

'Chosen Sisters'
Teresa was accused of making a shady remark at Joe Gorga on a recent episode of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'. However, she claims she has "no idea" why her "chosen family" speech would be distressing. Teresa clarified what she meant after her sister-in-law, Melissa, broke into tears during Teresa's love bubble housewarming celebration. "I have no idea. I didn’t know, like, why would it upset [her]? " Teresa inquired on Access Hollywood's Housewives Nightcap on February 28. "I was saying everybody there was my chosen family. I was thanking them for coming."
Teresa stated that she thought about her guests, who included her dearest friends and family. "The only family member that I had is my brother, and he wasn’t there. And Melissa’s family by like — I didn’t think I said anything bad — through marriage, she’s not my blood," Teresa pointed out.
She hasn't let the drama die down, even days after her clarification on the show. On March 8, she shared a photo with her new sisters-in-law, Jennifer and Veronica, on Instagram. "Chosen Sisters," she captioned the photo, followed by three love emoticons. She also used the same hashtag as her description, followed by "#bali #ubud #sisterinlaws."
Fans feel 'cheap shots aren’t necessary'
Seeing the caption, a follower quipped, "Well if that ain’t a shot at Melissa I don’t know what is! 😂." While another inquired, "Was that a dig at Melissa. Chosen sisters until one of them do something that makes you mad. So much for therapy." Calling this a petty move, a follower commented, "Ugh you're so petty." A fourth person asked, "This has got to be a set up lol."
Some felt the jab was unnecessary, "And this is why you have drama w Melissa. The comment is unnecessary." One follower also inquired, "Who paid for the sisters to go to Bali?? RHONJ?" While mocking Teresa, a fan wrote, "But you want to reconcile….#yeahooooook." One follower also added, "Not really chosen… inherited by marriage. 🙄 cheap shots aren’t necessary."
