NEW JERSEY CITY, NEW JERSEY: 'RHOBH' star Kyle Richards, 54, was recently criticized for posting a bikini selfie that showed off her abs. Critics on social media speculated that Kyle had taken Ozempic to shed the pounds after she flaunted her weight loss success. Ozempic is a drug commonly used for chronic weight control in people who are overweight or have a weight-related disorder such as high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes.

While it was reported that 'RHONJ' star Melissa Gorga only believed said rumors about Kyle, there is now new tea to spill. Kyle has confirmed that her fellow housewives never started any rumor, but that a housewife from another franchise got the whole thing rolling and it was none other than Melissa Gorga. Wait a minute, what now!

Kyle Richards slams Melissa Gorga of spreading Ozempic rumor

Before Richards slammed rumors that she used Ozempic to lose weight, housewife Melissa went on 'Jeff Lewis Live' in January 2023 and revealed that she thinks Richards is taking the stuff, "I’m not gonna lie, when I first saw her, I was like, ‘Oh she’s taking that stuff." For her part the 'RHOBH' star took to Page Six’s Instagram to talk about her weight loss journey, “I have never tried Ozempic, and this is not from plastic surgery,” she stated. “I’m honest about what I do. But if giving plastic surgery the credit makes you feel better then pop off sister.”

After that, Melissa went back to what she was thinking, "And then when she said that, I'm like, 'Oh OK maybe not. You know, I don't know," the reality star explained. "I didn't even text her and ask her," Melissa shared. The 'RHONJ' star even added that she thinks Richards looks great. This speculation on behalf of the housewife might have contributed to the rumor and Richards also claimed that it was Melissa who started this rumor and not her roommates, although Melissa later apologized to Richards.

Internet does not believe Kyle Richards

Kyle recently discussed her weight loss journey on Teddi and Tamra Judge's podcast, 'Two T's in a Pod.' Richards said, “After gaining weight during the summer — on July 15 — after getting off the boat, I thought, That is it. I’m not having any sugar, any carbs, any alcohol." However, the Internet doesn't believe that after struggling with her weight for so long, she just lost it naturally. One user said, "Ozempic body. 100 per cent. You look beautiful but just tell the truth. Your fellow housewives have told on you. It’s not a big deal but it is when you lie about it." Another one added, "'Lewk brought to you by Ozenpic at the expense of TD2 patients who are suffering because they can't get their medication because I'm using it to fit into this lewk'. Do better, Kyle. This is completely unacceptable behavior." One more user expressed their thoughts and said, "You have to be on something ….Diet and exercise didn’t do that."

The internet also doesn't believe Kyle on the score that Melissa started the rumors about her. One user said, "B******t, MG would not bother with rumors about Kyle 🤮. MG has better things to do." Another one said, "Kyle, just be open and honest. You are not fooling anyone." One more user commented, "Not believable WHATSOEVER but okkkkk Kyle 😂."
