'He did it for cameras': 'RHONJ' star Teresa Giudice slams Joe Gorga for visiting her ONCE in prison
MONTVILLE, NEW JERSEY: The Giudices and Gorgas drama has taken a new turn! In a recent interview, the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Teresa Giudice called out the Gorgas for saying they provided food for her family while she was serving her sentence. Teresa has hit back and claimed that if anything it was the other way around.
Teresa also revealed that her relationship with her brother, Joe Gorga, suffered while she was in prison. She claimed that Joe only visited her one measly time during her 11-month prison sentence. The 'RHONJ' star described how her connection with her brother broke down after she did her sentence in an interview with Housewives Nightcap. The mother of four admitted that her brother only visited her once while she was imprisoned, and she thinks he had a reason for doing so.
“My brother came to see me one time, and guess why? The cameras were rolling,” said Teresa. “He got paid for it. He didn’t come any other time.” She went on to add that it was only a lesson for her, “This is what I’ve learned. Unfortunately the past ten years it’s been heartbreak after heartbreak after heartbreak and I’m done.”
Will Giudice and Gorga's family reconcile?
The feud between the two families has only escalated for some time now. After Teresa revealed on national television that Melissa was not one of her bridesmaids, the Gorgas refused to attend her wedding. Since then the Giudices and Gorgas are giving each other the cold shoulder. Even Teresa's daughters were upset by Joe and Melissa's claim that 'they put food' on their table while Teresa was away. "When she was in prison Joe Giudice wasn’t working at all either, so they had no income,” said Joe Gorga. “If we weren’t on the show their kids would not still be living in that house and have food and have whatever they had,” he added.
The latest interview was Teresa's way of putting forward her side of things, “If anything, we put food on their table. The show was called 'Teresa Checks In', so if anything, I put food on their table. Let’s get that straight!” When asked about whether this feud will continue, Teresa claims "I am done." She went on to add, "We’re not speaking, we haven’t spoken since two days before my wedding and that’s it.”
