We have often heard that there is no such thing as a perfect murder. 'Your Honor' at the end of episode 1 showed how there is no such thing as a perfect crime. You see, something or the other is always left behind by the perpetrator of the crime -- whether it is planned or unplanned. In the case of Adam's hit and run accident, he did try initially to help the victim but his asthma attack and anxiety mixed together doesn't help him. So despite calling 911, he ends up abandoning the victim and does his best to get rid of any evidence that would connect him to the crime.

Yes, he did try to inform his father of what happened, however, New Orleans judge Michael Desiato had been busy hearing a case so he misses his son's call and that leads to Adam taking things into his own hands. He decides that the best thing to do would be to leave and he arrives home to clean himself up. He also tries to get rid of the evidence by taking out the trash that has trace evidence without being aware of how all of this will come back to bite him in the future. However, when Michael returns home, he sees that something is off about his son and Adam ends up confessing everything to his father truthfully. Initially, Michael decides to go with his son, and get him to surrender for the crime that was committed and so he has a chat with his son. Adam is initially frazzled but very soon, he realizes that his father is right in wanting him to surrender.

However, Michael found out that the young man who had died was none other than the son of New Orleans's most feared crime boss Jimmy Baxter's (Michael Stuhlberg) son. This is what changes the straight judge's mind about getting his son to surrender. So instead, the sincere judge decides to bury the truth. He helps his son attempt and try to hide the evidence, and in the upcoming episode, he will also set up an alibi on the day of his wife's death anniversary. However, the father and son are missing one very important point. However much they attempt to erase the trace of the crime, they will miss a key evidence. Just as we thought this, we see Adam's inhaler lying on the street. Then there is the dog and the rag as well. Are these the things that would lead Jimmy to Michael and Adam's doorstep? We would have to wait and watch.

For now, here is the official synopsis. "On the anniversary of Adam’s (HUNTER DOOHAN) mother’s death, Michael (BRYAN CRANSTON) and Adam create an alibi for the day of the accident. A favor for Michael pulls Charlie (ISIAH WHITLOCK JR.) and Lee (CARMEN EJOGO) into the web of deception. Kofi (LAMAR JOHNSON) gets approached about a job."

'Your Honor' will air on Sundays at 10 pm ET on Showtime. Starring Bryan Cranston, Hunter Doohan, Michael Stuhlbarg among others, the show premiered on December 6.
