'Yellowstone' releases unofficial trailer for 'Jimmy' ahead of Season 3 premiere and fans can't keep calm
Contains spoilers for Season 2 of 'Yellowstone'
We have waited far too long for 'Yellowstone' to return to Paramount Network. Spearheaded by the indomitable Kevin Costner's John Dutton, 'Yellowstone' had a massively successful Season 2 run that had us wanting more by the end of it.
Perhaps, the network realizes the eagerness of the viewers. In a bid to have them glued till the return, Paramount Network released the unofficial trailer for 'Jimmy', a movie based on fan-favorite character of the series Jimmy Hurdstram (Jefferson White). However, the trailer is just to entertain fans and there is no such movie.
Born into an unfortunate family, Jimmy's life had been riddled with adversity. Today, all of Jimmy's family members have either died or are in prison, which had left Jimmy and his grandfather alone. But in Season 2, after his grandfather is killed, we got to see a side of Jimmy that we had never seen before — a raw side driven by the same madness and passion as the Dutton family that controls the Yellowstone ranch.
The trailer for 'Jimmy' features Jefferson White as Jimmy through all the adversities he has faced in 'Yellowstone', beginning with the first most difficult task — getting on a horse (and then being really good at staying atop the horse). Slowly and steadily, as Jimmy made connections with the other ranch hands, he formed a deeper bond with the extended family that is the Dutton ranch hands.
"You're a two-time loser, Jimmy," begins the trailer for 'Jimmy'. "One more felony and they throw away the keys."
"A true story... based on a fake story," goes on the trailer portraying Jimmy's journey on the show as a standalone movie as clips from Season 1 and Season 2 are stitched together for a compelling trailer.
Fans are extremely excited about 'Jimmy'. And so do fans! "This is some next-level high class well thought out clickbait," commented a clearly impressed fan. "I really like Jimmy's character cant wait to see where the show takes him," said another fan.
Season 3 of Paramount Network's 'Yellowstone' is set to release in 2020, but official dates aren't out yet. In the meanwhile, you can marvel at the subtle amusement of this trailer.
