Starring Kevin Costner in the lead, ‘Yellowstone’ has attracted one too many fans, but perhaps it is the characters Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) who have stolen hearts on the show. An all-time fan-favorite couple, they finally confessed their love in Season 2 and have been romancing each other in Season 3.

With their childhood, past experiences and trauma that brings the two together, fans have been asking for a long time: Will Rip and Beth end up with each other? Their relationship has been a hurly-burly of sorts and perhaps, that will move along as it has been so far, with chaos and beauty intertwined. In the second episode titled 'Freight Trains and Monsters', the couple shares a close dance and it is heartwarming indeed. It begins when Beth howls like a free wolf and feels the sand beneath her. Scared that it might be a real wolf on the ranch, Rip grabs his gun and heads out. He catches sight of Beth, who confesses, "In 35 years, I have never been alone on this ranch. And we're all alone, Rip." She suggests they take off their clothes and run naked through the field because no one can see. Rip then turns on the music and as the chords of 'Lady May' by Tyler Childers play in the backdrop, they hold each other close and dance.

Isn't it simply adorable? Fans definitely agree. "Beth and Rip are my relationship goals. @Yellowstone," one tweet read. Another fan said, "I love them so much I would love to see them get a spin-off after this show ends!!!" However, Beth and Rip are too happy together, don't you think something will go wrong? After Beth's paths crossed with Roarke Morris (Josh Holloway) and she found out about his airport dream, he may try to woo her or worse, try to destroy her relationship with Rip.

If that happens, it could begin an uneasy love triangle and destroy many expectations of seeing Beth and Rip as the endgame. Moreover, in an interview with TVLine, when Holloway was asked if Beth and Rip fans should be scared, he gave a thumbs up. "Well… a little bit," he said. "But then again, I think they’re mostly just gonna be shaking their heads at my character and going, 'You don’t really know Rip, do ya?' I don’t know how scared Rip gets of anybody. What a great name for a guy that’s so mean! But I guess if Roarke really wanted Beth, he could probably take care of Rip on the side. He’s got that kinda power."

Only time will tell what happens next as more episodes roll out. For now, catch ‘Yellowstone’ Season 3 Episode 2 as it premieres June 28, 2020, at 9 pm ET, on Paramount Network.
