Fighting crime is novel but when you have a cop who makes you laugh with his way of solving crimes, then the fun is simply doubled. IFC's newest show is about one such detective inspector Rabbit.

The six-episode first season of 'Year of the Rabbit' premieres on Wednesday, February 19 at 10.30 pm ET/PT on IFC.
Plot
Set in the Victorian era, the plot follows the adventures of Detective Inspector Rabbit, who is a tough cookie and dedicated, but often inebriated, which makes his demeanor very quirky and edgy.
He and his two young partners, sleuth their ways through London and solve unsolvable crimes, but in a fun way. As a team, the trio has to fight crimes while rubbing their shoulders with people from all walks of life from street gangs, crooked politicians, spiritualists, music hall stars and more.

Matt Berry
Matt Berry or Matthew Charles Berry is a British actor and writer who plays the lead role of Inspector Rabbit. He is known for ‘Toast of London’ (2012), ‘The IT Crowd’ (2006) and ‘Snuff Box’ (2006).
Susan Wokoma
Susan is a British actor who started as a child actor in CBBC's 'Serious Jungle' (2002). Susan was a member of The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and is also a BAFTA award winner for 'That Summer Day' (2006).
As an adult, she made her debut in 'Half of a Yellow Sun' (2013) as well as many TV appearances in shows like 'Bluestone 42', 'Crashing' etc.
Freddie Fox
Freddie Fox aka Frederick Fox is a British actor and producer. He is known for 'The Three Musketeers' (2011), 'Victor Frankenstein' (2015) and 'Hero' (2018).
Showrunner
'Year of the Rabbit' is IFC's original creation, directed by BAFTA-nominated Ben Taylor (of Catastrophe fame) and written by Emmy and WGA Award winners Andy Riley and Kevin Cecil (of Veep fame), with support from Matt Berry. Ben Farrell and Toby Stevens serve as executive producers along with Hannah Mackay as the producer.
