'Wynonna Earp' Season 4 Episode 6 Preview: Will Wynnona retrieve the Peacemaker and Nicole break Clanton hex?

'Wynonna Earp' returned with its much-awaited fourth season this summer, and while we may have only six episodes for the first half of the season, a lot went down on the Syfy show. While the Earp curse was broken at the end of the last season, Wynonna Earp (Melanie Scrofano) and her allies were introduced to a new set of enemies — the Clantons who are hellbent on killing the last Earp to break their own curse. In history, the Clantons were the family that Wyatt Earp and his brothers had a shootout with at the OK Corral.
At the beginning of the season, Wynonna and Doc Holliday (Tim Rozon) had made their way to the Garden of Eden to rescue Wynonna's little sister, Waverly Earp (Dominique Provost-Chalkley). It is only after they return to Purgatory that they (and the viewers) realized that the trio had been in the Garden for 18 months. Waverly's fiancee, Nicole Haught (Katherine Barrell) had grown deseperate in the wait for the return of her lover and went to Carol Clanton aka Mama Clanton (Paula Boudreau) who cast a hex on Nicole for opening a doorway into the Garden. This hex presumably — based on Nicole's zombiefied actions — had Nicole aiming to kill Wynonna. Anytime Nicole tried to spill the beans about the hex, she threw up frogs instead.
So Nicole went to the two people whom she thought would carry out her plan to break the hex — former sherrif, Randy Nedley (Greg Lawson) and Jeremy Chetri (Varun Saranga). When Waverly finds them, Nicole is submered in a tub of water while Nedley casts a spell. The summer finale of Season 4 of 'Wynonna Earp' is set to show the lengths to which Nicole will go to to break the hex and protect her lover and her best friend — which was established in the season premiere to be Wynonna. We have to wonder how Waverly will handle this and whether she will stand by and allow Jeremy and Nedley to go with the dangerous plan which endangers Nicole's life.
Meanwhile, Wynonna is still continuing her pursuit of the Peacemaker, which she lost sometime during the fight with Bulshar in the previous season's finale. Her search led her to a group of nuns who said they would give it to her if she brought them the "Scorned Woman". What was initially thought to be a painting was actually a person, to be more accurate, it was Rosita Bustillos (Tamara Duarte) who was Doc's lover in Season 2 and tried to trade Wynonna and Doc's baby to get safe passage out of Purgatory. Needless to say, Rosita disappeared after her plan was discovered. Sure, Rosita is scorned, but with whom does she hold the biggest grudge, Wynonna or Doc? Doc is going to be doing a little reevaluating himself. In an old footage he sees Wyatt Earp speaking of Doc as if were a bit of the restless kind and that Doc started the shooting at OK Corral. Doc remembers it differently, however, the summer season finale will be delving into whether Doc is ready to let go of the past or not.
