'World of Dance' Season 4: Judges Ne-Yo, Jennifer Lopez and Derek Hough return to crown world's best dancer

In order to decide who the "best dancer in the world" is, you definitely need some solid credentials and talent. NBC's hit show 'World of Dance' is all set to make a comeback with Season 4. The judges of this popular talent-hunt show will watch many talented dancers flaunt their best moves before deciding who to give away the whopping prize money of $1 million and the title of "best dancer in the world". The show's format may have been tweaked a bit for Season 4, but the judges are still the same. We will see our favorite trio — Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough — make a comeback to lend expertise to decide who will win the show. Here's a look at why these judges are the perfect choice for such a big decision-making position. 

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez aka JLo is undoubtedly one of the best dancers in the world. She started off her career in a television sketch comedy show called 'In Living Color' where she was a part of a dance group called Fly Girls. She eventually moved into the music industry and carved a name for herself thanks to her beautiful voice and killer dance moves. The 50-year-old star is known for her sensuous and provocative dance moves.

She dabbles in a wide range of dance forms ranging from ballet to flamenco. Aside from singing and dancing, JLo has also branched out into acting and managed to become one of the most notable actresses in Hollywood. In 2013, she was presented with the prestigious landmark 2,500th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contributions to the music industry. Most recently, she has been nominated for Golden Globe Awards for her critically acclaimed role as a stripper in the movie 'Hustlers'. Since 2017, the talented star has not only sat on the panel of judges but also executive produced 'World of Dance'.

Ne-Yo aka Shaffer Chimere Smith is no stranger to the world of music and dance. After selling millions of copies of his songs, the singer has decided to shift focus to dancing. He has been on the panel of judges of 'World of Dance' since the show's first season. The talented singer/songwriter has worked with several top artists like Rihanna, Pitbull and Beyonce among several others. The 40-year-old star has released his seventh studio album in 2018.

Derek Hough

Apart from being one of the most renowned dancers, Derek Hough is also a singer, actor and New York Times bestselling author. Derek is well-known for ballroom style dance. He won the Emmy Award twice for his performance on 'Dancing With The Stars'. He is also the only six-time champion in the history of 'Dancing With The Stars'. Derek too has been on the panel of judges of 'World of Dance' since Season 1.

'World of Dance' Season 4 premieres on Tuesday, May 26, at 10/9c on NBC.
