LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: As the release of 'Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King' is nearing, fans are excited to know more about the future of Yuno and Asta's relationship. While Yuki Tabata maintained a distinctive, strong, and respectful relationship between Yuno and Asta in the manga, fans are wondering about the kind of turn it would take in the movie.

Since the beginning of the 'Spade Arc', manga readers have become frantic about what turn Yuno and Asta's relationship might take. Fans speculate that Yuno might turn into an anti-hero but not necessarily the enemy of Asta. Chapter 262 of the manga manages to depict the psychological state of Yuno because he was crushed emotionally and physically. While Netflix's 'Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King' film deviates from the manga and has created an entirely original storyline, fans are continuing to theorize whether or not he would become an anti-hero.

What is the relationship between 'Yuno' and 'Asta'?

Yuno and Asta have always shared excellent camaraderie. Yuno is Asta's foster brother, best friend, and someone who only encourages him to be better because they are both competing for the title of Wizard King, except one has powers and the other does not. However, the competitive stature of their friendship does not prevent them from having mutual respect and acknowledgment for one another. They have always been supportive of each other's milestones despite taking antagonistic jabs at one another.

Both Yuno and Asta always speak highly of one another and the two become an extremely powerful force when they are battling evil. It is likely that the antagonistic remarks made by Yuno has the fans convinced that maybe sometime in future arcs he would become an anti-hero who would be looming over the Clover kingdom as a partial threat.

Power versus Merit

As reported by Epic Dope, Yuno's magical powers grow at a tremendous rate and that may make him feel invincible at one point. Given that Asta is succeeding on his own, wholly based on his physical strength and without any magical powers, there is a possibility that Yuno is in endless battles and the loss of his family might end up taking a toll on him. Both Asta and Yuno represent the classic competition between merit and power. While Asta may not be the exact reason behind Yuno becoming an anti-hero but fans believe that there is a possibility. Given that Yuno is aware of his past and how the dark triad led to the fall of the Spade Kingdom, he may feel vengeful toward evil. With Yuno's ambition being the same as Asta, it cannot be confirmed whether he wants to be a wizard king just to avenge his family.

Everything is a mere speculation and theory by fans mainly due to the tragic background of Yuno. With the release of Netflix's 'Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King' on June 16, the fans will receive a final clarification of whether or not Yuno turns in an anti-hero.
