LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Will Trent', an American police procedural crime drama television series, returns for its highly-anticipated second season.

ABC has officially confirmed the release date for 'Will Trent' Season 2, eliciting a wave of excitement and anticipation among fans.

Ramón Rodríguez, a renowned Puerto Rican actor best known for ‘The Wire’, ‘Day Break’, ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ and ‘The Taking of Pelham 123’, is set to return to the ABC show.

Ramón Rodríguez plays Special Agent Will Trent in the ABC series ‘Will Trent’, captivating audiences worldwide.

Will Trent is a highly skilled GBI agent adept at keeping his dyslexia a secret as he navigates the challenges of trauma. Despite grappling with personal struggles, he maintains an outstanding track record for solving cases.

Ramón Rodríguez started his career in 2005 with the role of Ángel Rodríguez in the direct-to-video film ‘Carlito's Way: Rise to Power’.

Subsequently, he appeared in ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’, ‘Day Break’, and ‘The Wire’.

Erika Christensen, a prominent American actress best known for ‘Traffic’, ‘Swimfan’, ‘The Banger Sisters’, ‘The Perfect Score’, ‘Flightplan’, ‘How to Rob a Bank’, ‘The Tortured’, and ‘The Case for Christ’, is set to reprise her role as fellow GBI agent Angie Polaski.

Angie Polaski is a well-known detective with the Atlanta Police Department. Will and Angie have been friends since their childhood in a group foster home.

In her illustrious career, Erika Christensen has won the MTV Movie Award for Breakthrough Female Performance for ‘Traffic’ and Gracie Awards for Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Drama Series for ‘Parenthood’.

Iantha Richardson

Iantha Richardson will be reprising her role as Faith Mitchell, Will’s partner in the force. She is known for her sharp wit, and rose up through the ranks of the Atlanta Police Department.

Iantha Richardson, an American film and television actress, and dancer, played Adult Tess Pearson in ‘This Is Us’. She gained international recognition through her portrayal of Faith Mitchell in ‘Will Trent’ Season 1. 

Jake McLaughlin

Jake McLaughlin, known for his breakthrough role as Specialist Gordon Bonner in the 2007 film 'In the Valley of Elah,' is set to reprise his character as Michael Ormewood, a veteran detective, in the upcoming 'Will Trent' Season 2.

In the ABC series, Michael Ormewood comes from an upper-middle-class background in the Atlanta suburbs.  Angie is a former lover of Michael in the ABC series.

Jake McLaughlin gained international fame for his role in ABC’s ‘Quantico’ and NBC’s ‘Believe’. He is widely recognized for his role of Gary Hall in the award-winning Apple TV+ series ‘Black Bird’, playing opposite Taron Egerton and Paul Walter Hauser.

Sonja Sohn, who is best known for portraying Baltimore detective Kima Greggs in the HBO drama ‘The Wire’, is set to return to the ABC show.

Sonja Sohn plays Amanda Wagner, the head of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Will’s boss, in ‘Will Trent’. In the pilot episode, she partneres Faith with Will to solve a case.

Sonja Sohn is known for ‘Brothers and Sisters’, ‘Cold Case’, ‘Body of Proof’, ‘The Good Wife’, and ‘Burn Notice’.

Clark Gregg, who is best known for playing Phil Coulson in films and television series set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will be reprising his role as Arthur Highsmith in ‘Will Trent’ Season 2.

In the 'Will Trent' Season 2 trailer, Highsmith is seen attempting to evade Special Agent Trent. He is slated to make appearances in the first two episodes.

Clark Gregg is a famous American actor, director, and screenwriter. Clark Gregg is well-known for his role as FBI Special Agent Mike Casper on the NBC political drama series 'The West Wing.
