'Those About to Die' Season 2 is not officially confirmed yet
'Those About to Die' ended with Episode 10, hinting at the intent of creators to explore the story in further seasons.
However, as of July 18, 2024, there is no official confirmation regarding a second season of 'Those About to Die'. Any decision about the renewal will depend on the viewership numbers and audience reception.
If Season 1 garners a substantial following, the streaming platform may consider greenlighting another season. If there comes any update from Peacock or the creators of the show, we'll keep you posted.
What to expect in 'Those About to Die' Season 2?
'Those About to Die' Season 1 ended with Domitian Flavianus (Jojo Macari) taking over the throne as the new emperor of Rome after he backstabbed his elder brother and existing emperor, Titus Flaviano (Tom Hughes).
Domitian cornered Titus with the help of soldiers who were bribed by Tenax. During the confrontation between blood brothers, Tenax (Iwan Rheon) came from behind and choked Titus with a wet cloth.
The upcoming season should focus on how Domitian acts with his new authority as an emperor.
Tenax has been appointed as Aedile Ludi. With these new powers and influence, he will have to act cautiously, especially with Domitian whom he perceives as "cruel" and "unpredictable schemer and killer".
Tenax should also travel to Syracuse to find out more about his bloodline. We also hope to see how Kwame's (Moe Hashim) story progresses with his newfound freedom.
