'Love Island': Will and Kyra claim they never met despite being neighbors, fans call out scam

Ever since Kyra Lizama and Will Moncada coupled up on 'Love Island' the Internet has been rife with rumors of the two islanders knowing each other even prior to coming on the reality dating show. Kyra and Will were instantly drawn to each other and stayed together throughout their time in the villa.

It's the final episode of 'Love Island' Season 3 and the islanders were sitting together and reminiscing about their time in the villa and their journey on the show. Olivia Kaiser casually brought up Will and Kyra's relationship and praised them for their incredibly strong connection. She also slipped in the fact that Will and Kyra lived '15 minutes away from each other'. Will immediately responded to Olivia by claiming that they never crossed paths despite staying so close to each other.

When 'Love Island' fans heard this they found it hard to believe that the couple didn't know each other or crossed paths prior to coming on the show. A fan tweeted, "Rrrriiiggghhhtttt Will & Kyra have NEVER crossed paths guys #LoveIslandUSA." Another fan wrote, "Will & kyra still lying about not knowing each other #LoveIslandUSA." "Will and kyra live 15 minutes from each other????? yall cannot tell me they never knew each other NO MO #LoveIslandUSA," added a fan.

Many fans are also convinced that Will and Kyra joined the show just to win the $100,000 prize. A fan shared, "Will and kyra live 15 minutes from each other but never crossed paths?these 2 tried scammin the show and still not gonna win #LoveIslandUSA." Another fan commented, "Me watching Will LIE about not knowing Kyra before the show #loveislandusa." "Will and Kyra live 15 mins away from each other??? thats sus #LoveIslandUSA," echoed a fan.

Fans aren't the only ones casting suspicions about Will and Kyra's connection. Their co-star Aimee Flores too shared similar thoughts during an Instagram live session. When asked about Will & Kyra by one of the fans, Aimee responded by pointing out how it's unfair to other islanders to go through the process of forming a connection with a complete stranger, while Will and Kyra already knew each other. She said, "What is the point of us going through this rigorous schedule.. to make sure we miss each other, that we didn't who was on the show... What's the point of doing all that if these people already know each other, and are talking to each other, prior to going on the show? So, I don't know, I think that's just odd."

"I don't know if they had a plan going on or whatever. I think they really do like each other, but they definitely knew each other before going on the show, and that's not fair to any of us. What if Wes and I talked to each other for a month prior to going on the show, we already established something and then go on the show, and then we continue that?" she questioned.
