Sorry folks, 'Bull' isn't airing on December 7. The CBS legal drama will return on December 14 at its regular time slot of 10 pm. A lot has been happening in Season 5, and the possibility of fan-favorite Benny leaving, just one of them. While there is no official statement from CBS as to why the episode has been delayed, it's quite possible that as the series has 16 episodes, this season will have to be spaced out accordingly. December 7 will instead see a rerun of 'Bull Season 4 Episode 11 'Look Back In Anger'.

The synopsis of Episode 4 is released by the network. According to Rotten Tomatoes, the logline reads: "TAC braces for an un-jolly Christmas when Bull and Benny represent Marissa and her estranged husband, Greg, in federal court after they're charged with money laundering and fraud connected to Greg's restaurant. As Bull and Benny defend the divorcing couple together so the prosecution can't use them against each other, they search for jurors who will believe Marissa had no knowledge of Greg's business dealings."

This is a Marissa-centric episode and will continue her storyline from Episode 3. In 'Prison Break', she finally began to work on the divorce with her husband, Greg, and potentially meets the new love of her life, through a twist of fate. Here's what happened: She accidentally gets in touch with an acquaintance from school who she used to have a crush on. Marissa’s mother used to get him to drive her to school. He was older than her but she never told him how she felt and so she finds herself remembering the good old days. After a few glasses of wine, she ends up joining the school group online where he's a member, but the only problem was that he's a member of the juror that the TAC had assembled for a rather complex case. This poses an ethical conflict, and Marissa had to tell Bull and Chunk because he was handling the case. They lose a good juror as Marissa had been scrolling through social media while drunk. Nevertheless, they win the case.

However, the course of true love never did run smooth, least of all on CBS dramas, and she and Greg have to face each other again, as they are accused of money laundering.

'Bull' airs on Mondays at 10 pm on CBS.
