ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star Jennifer Pedranti has been in a 2-year-long relationship with Ryan Boyajian. However, she still does not seem ready to tie the knot.

In last week's episode, we saw Ryan accepting that he is ready to get married and he seemed certain that Jen wants the same. However, on Wednesday's episode, Jen spilled her secrets, claiming that marriage frightens her.

Jen was previously married to Will Pedranti. The divorce was messy and heartbreaking for her. And, she does not want the same thing to happen again. Therefore, 'RHOC' star is refraining from falling into a second marriage. She explained her reasoning on the show itself.

Why does Jennifer Pedranti not want to marry Ryan Boyajian?

Jen said in the recently released episode, "I keep saying to him (Ryan) that we don't have to be married." The reality star then explained, "I don't want to be a financial burden, I don't wanna be these things that could restrain us."

Jen then explained in the confessional video that she worries sometimes. And, the reason behind her worry is Ryan doing well in his career. She adds, "Because in his mind he's still somewhat free and I worry about the second that the rings go on Ryan feeling trapped."

"I'm not gonna be a part of a second failed marriage," adds Jen. She indeed is refraining from hurrying into marriage despite Ryan being all ready for it.

Jen believes she and Ryan are operating well at the moment. Therefore, she does not want to ruin things by putting a ring on it.

Ryan's loyalty towards Jen was put in question by 'RHOC' stars. So, Jen went out to seek moral support from her childhood friend Taylor. Seeing her 'RHOC' friends question Jen and Ryan's relationship made Jen give it a thought as well.

She said, "It's starting to make me question what I want and it feels like it's becoming too much to carry." Jen claimed she wants everything in her life to go perfectly. Her divorce was complicated. Therefore, she began to take tiny steps to not hurt anyone. Will Jen end up saying yes to Ryan's marriage proposal in 'RHOC' Season 17?

'RHOC' Season 17 releases every Wednesday at 8 pm ET on Bravo.
