She admitted in the premiere episode of the Netflix show, "We have been together for almost two years and we love each other and our families love each other. so it's kind of like 'What are we waiting on?'"
She further revealed that the goal of the Netflix show is to leave with the man that she is in love with. She confessed that she felt quite confident that Brian would be proposing to her after the experiment because "I don't think he's ever been put in a position where he truly felt like he was gonna lose me."
Meanwhile, Brian wanted to be in a good financial space first so that he could provide for their future family. However, Lisa ensured that if he didn't propose to her to marry, she will move on.
However, this was not the first time that Lisa has issued an ultimatum to Brian. She first gave him an ultimatum when they were friends with benefits, then they started dating exclusively.

'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On' couples were in the bar to have a bash during night one when Roxanne Kaiser asked with whom they had the best date. Jeriah 'Riah' Nyree admitted to having a great time with Brian.
Riah revealed that she found multiple things common between her and Brian. Notably, Riah's attraction towards her partner left Lisa devastated and she walked off from the couch.
Brian tried to convince her about Riah but Lisa felt jealous and just left the bar and considered quitting the Netflix show.
